I’m 21-year-old Anna from Germany. I’ve been writing, recording and producing my own music basically since I can remember.
From the first time I properly picked up a guitar at nine years old to attending classical guitar lessons for three years to establishing my singing with lessons for another three years, it probably won’t surprise you that I am hardly ever seen without a guitar or not doing something music-related. Besides being taught a lot about music in my childhood, I also started to experiment with music on my own, especially at home with music equipment my dad and I collected over the years. I love a prominent guitar sound, but also thoughtful lyrics and trying out a variety of different instruments to somehow give life to indescribable emotions.
The biggest influence on me had the music group The Beatles, and not only music-wise. My life-long passion led me to travel the world in their footsteps from singing songs with like-minded Beatlesfans at the Imagine Memorial in New York City on John Lennon’s birthday, visiting Liverpool for the first time when I was nine years old or attending legendary concerts by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. But most prominently, they inspired me to make music myself. In August 2023, I performed at International Beatleweek in Liverpool, playing eight gigs in six days on stages like the legendary Cavern Club.
Apart from making music I’m studying English literature, linguistics and culture at university and love capturing moments, not only in written form.
